Tramonto curled around his egg, his sigh echoing across the cave. "What is it?" Amanacer asked softly as she glided in. "Why did her mother have to leave?" Tramonto asked, a tear sliding down his cheek. "I don't know, my brother. Let me take the egg and tell it a story," she offered, picking the egg up on her mouth. She glided over to a mossy nest, and lay the egg down. "I'm going to tell you the story of the Dream Catchers," she murmured softly, setting the egg in the curve of her body. "It all happened the night they hatched..."


The solid black egg bathed in deep blue wisps began to rock back and forth. An egg exactly like it began to rock also. The final egg to begin rocking was a black one with orange wisps. "Ice Shard, Spirit Orb, and Tennessee are hatching!" the caretaker ryori howled. Suddenly, three ryoris popped out, only one was male. "They hatched!" the caretaker announced, and ushered the hatchlings to the hatchling stable.
