I understand that probably this would take too much work but what if we could cross breed the species? Like Qitari with a Faelora, the child would either be a mix of the two or look like either parent. But it'd be like a 5% chance it would turn out to be a total half and half.

This is not something we plan. It's why we call them species since, in real life, a species is defined as a group of interbreeding creatures.
However, we do have breeds. Although the only breed atm is Sylesti, we do have the door open for multiple breeds down the road.

I do love that idea. I'm just wondering, are all traits for each species going to apply to all breeds or are certain breeds going to have specific traits unless interbred? XD Or is it too early to know?
