So I was playing earlier and stepped away from my computer for a few hours, when I came back, a bunch of my gold just disappeared! And I have no clue why!

I had 20 something thousand before and now I only have 2,122...

Any idea why this happened? I don't think I bought anything and I can't be sure...

Do you have a stablehand active? If so, it could be your pets being fed as to the reason for the disappearing gold.

I do, but it shouldn't have taken that much gold at once. I was only gone for about 3 hours at most, and I lost 20k.

It was 100% your stablehand. They feed the pets at midnight.

this was when your post was. If you came back then, you were gone with the midnight rollover, so your pets were fed all at once.

Does the stablehand seriously use 20k at once? I don't even pay them that much to work. I'm pretty sure it's only about 4 or 3k usually to feed all my pets...

It would depend on how hungry your pets were.

The stablehand had been active for a while, so they should only have been down the one hunger point or whatever they lose normally.

You can check how much the stablehand spent feeding your pets. Just go to "view logs" at the top right of your stable page. It'll tell you how much your stablehand spent feeding how many pets.

You also have 1,500 pets. So the price of feeding them would be a bit more than 3 or 4k

I didn't know that, that's actually really helpful.

I just checked the log and the stable hand only uses about 3k per night, so it wasn't the stablehand.
