{ my name is karuma. you can call me kar or whatever else you like. i'm just your average seventeen year old girl. well, kind of.. not really..

{ karuma is quite tomboyish, claiming that being lady-like is a waste of time, yet she's almost always seen wearing a skirt. when introducing herself, she usually comes off as a tease and a flirt, as well as a little arrogant. kar is also known to have quite a short temper, and she isn't afraid to show it. despite her usually sane less behavior, karuma is actually quite intelligent, and often uses her cleverness to her advantage. and although kindness is one of her least concerns, loyalty is her specialty.

{ karuma was born into a fairly large family, having about four siblings, herself being the oldest. when she first discovered her powers, her entire family tried to support her. but with her actions getting more and more brash, their tolerance for her quickly ran out. so when she was fifteen, kar decided to move out and live her own life. although she tries to keep her powers a secret, she cant help but wanting to brag a little.

{ kar is a werewolf, giving her an enhanced sense of smell and hearing, as well as super speed. when she shifts, she turns into a dark red, muscular wolf with light red eyes, jagged nails and long canines. in human form, her fangs are smaller but still visible.

Is this okay? I can change it if it's not. Although I've had a character like this in mind for quite a while, I've never actually gotten the chance to use it. The whole heterochromia thing is there just cause I actually have that in real life, but mine is only noticeable if someone is looking directly at my eyes for a couple minutes. My brother has it too, but his is instantly visible.

Personality
Zumi is quite out going, talking at people more often then talking with them. She's also quite loud when she speaks. She's quick to trust people and consider them friends if they can stand all her shenanigans. She sarcastic and quick to speak. She tends to lean more to the girly side around girls to try and fit in but she tends to be a little rough around guys, playfully hitting them... Kind of hard... She tries to be vegan, not loving the idea of eating fish ever, but she will occasionally eat a little 'land' meat. If she even sees someone eating fish she gets sick to her stomach. If someone breaks her trust they'd find it hard to ever earn it back. She's protective of her friends, and will get into a fist fight with some one who made them cry. She likes wearing glasses, even though she doesn't need them, to soften the unusually bright eyes she has.

History
There! It's Zumi again! I don't really like talking about my past too much... Mainly because I can hardly remember it. All I know is that my parents were mermaids and they died when I was young... My older brother has been teaching me the ropes of being discrete about our heritage since we started living on land. Eventually we got adopted by a human couple but they don't know about our true identities. We usually go to a largeish stream near our city every day in case we can't make it the next.

Yoshi is very protective of his sister. It's tough for him to make friends with people his own age because he had to grow up quickly to take care of his sister. He also has some trust issues with adults. He honestly might be a little obsessive with sister and feels responsible for her. He will often take the heat for Zumi when he can. His personality tends to flip-flop between wanting to be absolutely alone and longing for a group of friends. If he had friends he would most likely be protective of them.

History
I remember when my parents were killed. I try not to but it'll always be with me. Hunters found them when we went on land for a bit. I managed to get Zumi and myself away and practically raised her for about five years before a human couple picked us up about three years ago. I was actually grateful for them helping us, Zumi really deserved a better life then what she got but she got what she got and she seems happy about it.
