Just want it to be known that I could see myself spending $10-15 for a well functioning app that gives a simplified version of the site that isn't as image heavy and wouldn't use so much data. ;)

I know that's a lot of work and probably has already been thought of; just saying I would buy it.

This has been brought up in the past as well. The biggest issue with this being that it takes a different type of coding to create, basically. With Krin being not only the primary, but the ONLY programmer for the site, it would not only require him to learn something completely different, but it would also require him to take time out of his already busy schedule to code it as well, meaning it would take away from any updates, etc for the regular site.

So atm, its not really plausible. Maybe one day, but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

As Lost has noted, this has been suggested MANY times. Unfortunately, Krin doesn't know very much about that type of coding and would basically have to learn everything from scratch. The Sylestia team is very tiny, but the admins hope to expand once we relaunch. So basically, an app may come about in the future but it's very out of the question right now in our present situation.
