Does any of you ever had that time where you're suddenly hit by Inspiration and you want to create stuff?
Yah, that's what I'm going through now. For the past hour I've been doing nothing but design sylesties, and I can't stop it ;-;

It's 3:35 am here I wanna go to bed but I have so many ideas I'm gonna forget them even after I wrote those down.

How do you guys deal with such surges? It's been a looong time and I'm still at this, not getting bored and getting ideas after ideas ;-;

I've hit the design limit several times XD

I get urges to write suddenly and I just ride the wave as long as I can. My bursts of inspiration tend to be short and far between so I work with what I get

Mine usually revolve around games, shows, cartoons, anime, manga, or movies that I've been binging on, especially when it's old animated Disney movies. It's fun reacting to your own reactions in regards to how the opinions on so and so scene particularly when you haven't watched that movie in years. The inspiration takes place in what if questions and then from there usually pertains to how different it could have been if the hero/heroine went from good guy mode to more evil than the villain was in the regular form. How much farther would/could they go? Would they be a better at it or would the original laugh at their attempts? What would happen if the villains took them under their proverbial wings and they accepted the offers? What would happen if the roles were reversed entirely? How could the different perspective change it and so on and so forth. Why is it mostly a what if on "the dark side of the force"? Simple. I prefer the darker side. It makes the reasons why and how a lot more complex and creates more gray area. It irks me to no end how the majority of kid/teen anything tries so hard to maintain the good and evil split without more than one or to gray areas. Thus, the inspiration primarily comes from when I'm reading a fanfiction on anything fitting into the previously stated categories and the main characters are all canon good guys and it's done well enough that it gets me mad enough to get synical and sarcastic the further I read. Kind of mentally growling the questions. They usually don't get answered the way I would like but whatever. Hats off to people who right well enough it could end up in the very show etc. it's modeled after without anyone being the wiser, but I still prefer the thinking outside of the canon box writers. Makes the inspirations all the more interesting.
