Welcome to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Sylesties (SPCS)!

What is the SPCS?
The SPCS is a society dedicated to saving and re-homing sylesties who are neglected (unconscious/starving), abandoned (owned by "dead" or inactive accounts), or unwanted (in danger of being released). Our goal is to save all of these sylesties, and give them homes where they will be loved and protected.

How do I abandon a pet?
To relinquish a pet to us, just ping the user you want to take your pet, and set up the pet for sale to that user for 1 gold. There is no abandonment fee, just make sure that someone knows you've set up a pet for them. That user will then adopt the pet from you and get it ready for adoption.

How do I report a neglected/abandoned/unwanted pet?
Fill out this form and ping me, littletoes101, and I will take care of everything.

How do I adopt a pet?
Our volunteers and staff will have a tab on their stables that says "adoption." All pets have an adoption fee of 50 gold, and all pets will be genetically tested so you know exactly what you're getting. Only adolescents and adults will be available for adoption; egglings and hatchlings have to grow up before they can be adopted.

How do I become a volunteer or a staff member?

Volunteers are members who have not paid a staff membership fee. Volunteers are only allowed to have 10 pets for adoption at a time and 10 fostered egglings or hatchlings.
Regular staff are members who have paid 10 gold for a staff membership. Regular staff are only allowed to have 20 pets for adoption at a time and 30 fostered egglings or hatchlings.
Upper staff are members who have paid 50 gold for a staff membership. Upper staff are allowed to have 50 pets for adoption at a time and 60 fostered egglings or hatchlings.
Golden staff are members who have paid 100 gold for a staff membership. Golden staff are allowed to have an unlimited number of pets for adoption or fostering at a time.
Special staff are staff members who go above and beyond to help the SPCS, and are chosen by me. They get special privileges, such as monthly bonuses or free pets.
Veterinarians are members who have unlimited genetic testing kits and can gene test pets for adoption. You don't have to pay to be a vet, just state it in your form.

Please note that you MUST have an "adoption" tab in your stables, or an adoption stable, and that all pets up for adoption MUST be genetically tested UNLESS you are fostering an eggling or hatchling. Your pets MUST be taken care of; they must be fed every day and kept conscious. If you are having financial trouble, please contact me or another volunteer/staff and we will help you!

Why do you want to be a part of this organization?:
I would like to be more active and social on Sylestia, and this would give me an opportunity to do so while being useful. I also think that this is a really nice concept for a pet adoption agency, so it would be great to contribute in some way!
