I'm nurturing nephini egglings and hatchlings for the nurture contest at the moment. I noticed something weird. When I started nurturing about an hour ago, I had TOTAL 80 pages of egglings to nurture. Now there are only 42 pages TOTAL left. How are the total number of pages getting lesser?
Do the nurtured pets disappear from the advanced search list? Also I got only 75 eggs to nurture in 38 pages. Is that normal too? Not sure if it's a bug or something I haven't understood yet. Thank you for your time.

The only thing I can think of is that pets are reaching their "Ready to Hatch" status and are no longer eligible for nurturing.

People could also be releasing them after nurturing them themselves.

I think something like that might be happening because when I finish nurturing all pages of egglings & hatchlings, I was still far behind people who are on the top positions. I literally had 80 pages of egglings & 120 pages of hatchlings but I could nurture only 173 in all. The pages kept decreasing.
Oh well... Looks like a complete waste of time. I really spent hours thinking everyone has equal opportunity. If people are breeding/nurturing/releasing them.....
