I think this is a bug or I am doing something very wrong XD! But even though I have had Farm Maiden Rosemary under contract for over a month and I will continue to for 35 more days.... All my pets have fallen unconscious from not being fed :|.

Did you have sufficient gold to feed them?

From what I can look at, that's my best guess.
I went ahead and added a for-sure message when this situation happens so that going forward, I can know for sure.
