How do you unlock the other tears on Jinxie's Jamborie?

As you play the story missions/clear areas the 10 gold tier will open eventually. At the moment only the 5 and 10 tiers are available I believe.

I defeated the boss in Esior's fields, but, didn't have the quest. How do I fix that?

Can you get into the next area? Usually new areas open as you beat others, it's been a while since I finished them though, so I'm not sure.
