A few days ago I bout my own brand new Lenovo Yoga 2 2-in-1 Laptop Tablet, you know, the whole super light laptop that folds back into a touchscreen tablet thing. Now, I've been having some really strange issues in the fest zone and on Sylestia in general. Not the typical tablet issues because I do have a mouse so typical "can't right poke to sell stuff" issues aren't happening lol.
The issues I'm having seem to be different aspects of my computer stopping working. Like, at first, I could alternate between keyboard commands and clicking or touching the screen with no issues. I was doing what I normally did in battles- using the quick keys to select attacks and clicking enemies or poking them. After a while, I couldn't click enemies and had to poke them. I noticed that I could click the first turn, but after that, I had to poke. After a bit longer, I couldn't even click the first turn. I couldn't click anything! I couldn't view party stuff, inventory, or minimize the chat with my mouse and I had to poke. I tested the chat and that did work, I could type and send things on there. After leaving and entering the fest zone a few times [I'm leveling up two max-stats to put in my party and have been allocating points and equipping items when I can] these would switch. After some time I realized that I could no longer use my arrow keys to move around, nor could I click the arrows. I could only poke.
At that point, I decided that something must be wrong and went here into the bug forum to post a thread about this, but to my disappointment, I couldn't use the keyboard AT ALL! I couldn't type anything! I went over to Facebook in another tab and my keyboard worked fine elsewhere, but I still could not type anything in the text boxes. I tried clicking, right clicking, and poking and nothing worked. I ended up closing out of Sylestia altogether and reopening it and now it is working [as you can see lol] and I can once again right click and get options, but I do feel the need to bring this up.

I don't think that this is anything in my computer because I literally bought it on Wednesday and was on it and messing around on Thursday. There isn't enough anything on it to need to clear anything. Again, I'm on a Lenovo Yoga 2 2-in-1 that's running Windows 10. I'm on the Microsoft Edge thing if that means anything. The entire keyboard stopping was what really worried me because they keyboard is only supposed to automatically "shut off" when it's folded back and in tablet mode. But again, it worked fine on other sites so I know that nothing should be wrong with my laptop.

I would think that this might just be an issue of technology, but the fact that what I could and couldn't do in the fest zone changed as I played makes me think otherwise.

I believe the issue you are having is related to a feature most laptops have that lock the screen when typing so you don't accidentally click/move the cursor around.

If you go into keyboard or mouse settings, you should be able to find where to disable it.

Okay, I went into the device settings and I found an option to change the touchpad delay setting. Is that what you mean? It was on Medium delay and I changed it to short delay. I'll see what that did in a minute.

Okay, I just went through the Named and I'm sill having the issue where I can't click enemies after the first turn. I like using the method with quick key 3 for attack and clicking with the mouse more because there's a delay when I use the key and poke the screen. I'm not sure what would make it so that I can't use my mouse [or touchpad] after the first turn in a battle. It doesn't matter how much time I wait so it doesn't look like a delay issue. I am getting the hand icon but clicking won't do anything.

Hm. If it's systematically like that and has no effect by waiting... say 30+ seconds.. then yea... that shouldn't be the issue.

Could always try the simple thing of clearing your browser cache.

I tried it and I'm still unable to use my mouse or touchpad to select enemies after the first [or second] turn. I have noticed that when I reach the point where I can't click, there's a typing cursor above the enemies stats box thing. It always appears there after I end the first turn and I'm unable to move it. It blinks as if I can type [but of course I can't lol] Before that point, this cursor will appear in either the HP or MP box. When I end the turn, it appears above the box.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, I just noticed it.

Very well could. Not sure what would be causing your browser to think that those are inputs...

Have you tried a different browser to see if the issue persists? Which browser are you using btw?

I'm using Microsoft Edge. It's a pre-loaded browser with Windows 10, I think. I do have Chrome on here so I'll try with that in a minute.

Okay. Sounds like it's a script issue related to their new browser then. For the time being, I would just use Chrome if possible.
