My pets were killed just as I was going through the final mirror in the Spire, but apparently, the game didn't quite think so, and keeps telling me I'm in a battle, but doesn't think I'm stuck.

I have removed you from that Battle.
I will also take a look and fix this so it won't happen in the future.
