Okay so I was a dummy and skipped the instructions on where the irrigation pumps are located.... does any one have any suggestions to point me in the right direction?

*side note*
I am still not accustomed to the new exploration window and battle lay out.. but I noticed that the star colors are different( for example when the stars are green the pet does not show a trait) so could anyone elaborate on the new star meanings??

If I remember correctly, the irrigation pumps are in the orchard (so the area where you speak to the farmer) at the right-hand end of the orchard rows.

As for the stars, this image is from Flute's guide here and shows the number of trait points applicable to the colours under the old (Viridian and Umbra) and new (Astryl's Vale and Festival zones):

As you can see, under the old system, green was 2 trait points so there could be a visible, under the new system green is 1 trait point and therefore will always be a carried.
