I have a bunch of pictures but the last one is always getting corrupted. I tried redoing that piece of code, removing it, etc. Whatever image link happens to be the last one in the post becomes messed up.

Hmmm, by putting all of the images in a separate post, the issue resolved itself. Don't know why it happened though

This actually would have been because one of the links was messed up and was left open. So no matter how many you had, the last one would be left broken.
The only way to have fixed it would have been to carefully look through your post and find the messed up link.
However, if posting them all in separate posts fixed it, then that works too. =P
