Recently my laptop got a virus and I can only play this on my phone. I know other sylestia users have to use just their phone too, and there are sooo many restrictions... I for one, can't copy my generated designs and paste them back to tweak. So I had an idea, I don't know if anyone has suggested it before, but an app? A sylestia app compatable with phones and other idevices? It's just a thought :) I'd download it. And I don't mean I'd want it any different, I just wish I could do everything I can on my laptop but on my phone too.

I've seen this suggested a few times. Krin usually says that the way that sylestia is set up really doesn't work well with devices so there are a lot of things that mobile users can't do [like sell things in the inventory]. An app might be something that they'll work on in the future, though. Right now they're putting efforts into the new Megazone and the site relaunch. :P

I usually roll out this explanation when this suggestion comes floating through every few months, so I shall do so again, since it's been a while. Coding for a computer? Lets say it's Chinese. Coding for a phone app? Let's say it's Greek. Does knowing Chinese help you be fluent in Greek in any way? Not really.
Asking for Sylestia to have a phone app, is in effect asking for Krin to learn an entirely new coding language from scratch, that almost nothing he knows right now will be helpful for in any way. It's an extremely time consuming request, that I don't think most people who suggest it actually grasp the full concept of that to know what they're really asking for.
Sylestia would basically have to be put on hold for a pretty long time, for Krin to learn to code apps, and the app would likely require additional coding to be set up for new features down the line as well as the websites coding because Chinese and Greek don't mix real well. There's a little that can be used in both, but not a ton.
