I understand that most people will not sell starters but I see people releasing them because they don't want them but can't sell them so why not have the ability to sell a starter starters can be awesome to have then just wasting them by releasing them

The main reason why starters cannot be sold is because they are essentially an enhanced generated pet. If players have the ability to sell starters, the admins are concerned about players creating multiple accounts to take advantage of this and to create more "enhanced generated" pets for themselves, or to sell.

So for players who dislike their starters after playing the game, they can release them. Also, I heard the admins are working towards something where the players can recreate their starter after they passed a certain point in the game. So that might be an alternative for players in the future.

Completely understand that make another account thing if your could recreate them that would be awesome if you could do that I'd make a specific coloring lol mine has odd ball trait colors it would be nice to be able to remake it

Yup. I guess that's probably why the admins are thinking of making this an option, since some players don't fully understand how the generator/ creating a pet works, and later realised they could have done better.

If it's colours that bother you though, you can always use dyes on your pet. lesser dyes are quite easily obtainable if you do nurturing consistently, though it might take a few dyes to get the colour you want... xP

Glad I do now you should see all the nice designs I've done now that I know how to use it havnt made any though the game hates me does not want to give me zolnixi essences

if you find zolnixi egglings/hatchlings on the advanced search and keep nurturing those, you'll get zolnixi essences faster. the drop rate for nurturing is quite low, but when you get one, it'll be the essence of the species you just nurtured.
