k, who thinks it would be amazing if you had a double enhaned esence so you could generate those pets with four traits.Ok but heres the thing they dont exist.I was wondering if we could create them but they cant be bought.They have to be found when adventuring or nurturing the atchery pets.Or given out as prizes in the games and contest by admins.I mean users would be able to sell between themselves just not able to be bought through the diamond shop.Maybe when you buy a pet from the scale shop hae a rare chance of when it hatches you get this essence of the hatchlings type.Also when someone suggest something and it's made or what ever I think that person should get one of those free.Lie if someone suggested a markng then they could get an essence where they get only that markig another of there choice or something like that.

Having such an item on the site [especially through the non-paying features] will ruin a main incentive for users to breed their pets to gain the 4-visibles they have set a goal for. It's pretty much the mentality of "Why should I put so much work into breeding so-and-so pet when I have the chance at finding exactly what I need with likely less effort involved."

I love this idea. Not everybody loves breeding. Some players just like creating their pets, and playing the adventure part of the game, the small extra games, the rp and the contacts with the people here. There are people who are not fan of having to do big breeding projects and use up all their precious essence to get that one pet. (and because of that they will not be able to make lots of different pets, only the pets needed for that breeding project)

Though I get where your comming from, there are different types of people playing this game. Those that like to breed are in luck those that don't are in bad luck. To those who don't like huge breeding projects this is a way of still getting that pet. And the breeders could still be proud and happy if they make a pet like that trough breeding projects even if some can make pets with 4 visible on the rare ocasion they find an dubble enhanced essence like that.

I have to agree with Draco. Awhile back Kir made an announcement about some changes to the generators, and stated "we want to put focus on breeding. Allowing users to generate exact pets will have a negative affect on breeding. The goal is for users to generate a breeding pair where maybe both parents are slightly off... but their offspring will result in what you really wanted. " It was in reference to the slight color changes, but I believe it also can apply to the number of genes/mutations on the pet.

Thus far I don't believe anything greater than a 3 vis pet has even been given away through forum games.

There WAS that eggling auction where Draco won a 4vis custom pet. lol
Though 3vis customs have been rarely given out thru games.

I have a sort of support for it.
If anything, I'd ask for an alternative to approach a 3-4 vis pet/essence that can be equivalent or more difficult than the breeding route. I personally do not like breeding because it leaves a slurry of pets that people end up going OH MAN WHAT A FAILURE RELEASE or something like that.

The pets that I have in mind, I'd like to be one-of-a-kind, and I personally don't mind going through a dungeon for an entire year, craft and farm golden magical crops and items, and all the effort it takes to have a guaranteed chance to make a pet. (Rather than leave it up to luck or gamer's reflex that wins a 3/4vis from a game lol)

I know that people are pro-breeding and anti-easy/winnable game, but I'm just saying, I'd like to suggest a beyond-and-above alternative for a more direct multi-vis pet that isn't just limited to breeding alone.

Of course, I suggest it, and I am happily able to adapt to whatever the game decides to put out haha.

Also, if anything, I do remember Krin/Fai considering doing inbreeding, and putting an inbred % on pet pages later on. Not coming soon or anything, but that is an alternative I guess, if you don't mind that.

I really do want a nice quest to do 1000 difficult tasks to a unique pet though lol. Feels like an RPG/'you are the chosen one' dream lol.

This is something I could get behind. Making it the reward for a huge, epic quest.

What I was saying is you have only a very slight chance of ever finding this essence in the wild or hatchery.It will not be for sale and thats pretty much the only way to get it is through the wildand hatchery.Or the really rare option of when you open up one of the eggs found in the scale shop you find the essence.Very minamual chances there.I like breeding but I dont have the money to get the essences needed for the most part.Also I would want certain colours i'm unlikly to get.Besides I dont have a 1000 essences to make exact copies with so as to get the right colours.

Breeding aside, such an item would make special forum game pets absolutely worthless as well. There HAVE been triple and (one) quad visible custom offered in the event forum games that Fai provides. She and Krin do a LOT of work to create these games and make them work the way they should. Triple and quad visible pets are extremely rare as it is, and it's a privilege to win one (even if it is through pure chance). Being able to make one at ALL for yourself outside of these events would make the ones won in games like this worthless.

Now going back to breeding, this game is heavily based on it. One of the very first things you see when you come to this site, before you even register, you can see what the site is about. The fourth little bubble of information flat out tells you that breeding is a part of this game. If you don't have the patience for breeding then that's no one else's fault, and players shouldn't be rewarded for something they're just too lazy to figure out or do. This game is NOT an instant-gratification game. You fight for hours and days to get a specific outfit item to drop. You participate in raids every day in hopes of finding some nice new pets to add to your arsenal of pretty soldiers. You jump head-first into the holiday events to try and get all of the outfits and special drops that are only available during that event. You give yourself carpal tunnel from clicking all those eggs trying to accumulate scales and maybe that essence you've been hoping for. But you can't make a pair from the MULTITUDES of essences that already drop throughout the game to breed yourself the pet you want? Really?

For that matter, at some point we'll be getting our chance to capture pets with upwards of three visible traits to start with (Mythic pets haven't been introduced yet, but they eventually will). If you're really hard up for those special, personally-designed-by-you triple and quad pets, I would suggest trying your best during the forum event games to earn one. If not? Stop being stubborn and make a pair and go through the same process everyone else does to get that special pet they really want. If you can't do that then you apparently don't want it that bad.

Like a said before I dont have money to buy the essences,I recently got a lot of essences but no 2 are the same like zolnixi and quitrie, not zolnixi and zolnixi.See, im a tween and not allowed to have a credit card.So... no diamond buying unless I can con them into something and it never invovles credit cards. .But I'm working towards this breeding project.But I have bigger priorities at the moment, such as deveating some jerk in fungus grove.
