This issue arose during the recent restoration of our Database. Update 1 (6/12 @ 8:20pm): I have corrected all bred pets and they should now be properly categorized as "Offspring" once again. I began to correct Starter pets, but the process was taking too long so it was aborted. We are still working on a global fix for all pets. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an ETA at this time.

Some error occurred while they were solving the problem with the database. The admins are aware of the problem and are trying to correct it. So let's give them some time and hope they resolve the issues soon. =)

There shouldn't be any offspring pets erroneously marked as Exclusive. Can you please link the pet(s) in question?
