it might not be a bad thing. if you're researching every little detail and you're like 'oh dang i have ALL of that' (or like, 80-90%), it's quite possible you have said ailment. unless you're watching the news or something and believe every thing they say, then that's usually a cause for concern, since that's only one source saying something instead of several.

if you do feel like you have something, after research, it's worth a go to ask your doc to test you for it/talk to them about it, if that's an available option for ya. (even then, there's doctors that are absolute crap and won't test certain things they 'believe' don't exist or they wanna ignore you and assume it's something else)

i'm like, the opposite. i'm so afraid that i'm gonna sound like i think i have everything that even if i do a ton of research and i'm 97% sure i have whatever, i'll still be like 'naaaah i'm imagining things.' then again, i question half the stuff i actually HAVE been diagnosed with. till it starts acting up then i'm like 'oh yeah that's a thing'

Yeah, most of the things I got diagnosed with were because I or somebody else looked into it. Not that I want any more issues, it's just I want answers but am kinda scared of what I might get :<

Oh god, for awhile i was scared that i had diabetes, i had some symptoms and it runs in the family, but thankfully i'm clear. Didn't wanna get tested for so long though, not only for fear of needles, okay it's literally all about fear of needles, i didn't want to prick myself daily to test my blood and eeaugh i hate lab blood tests, too. God i hate needles.

Or there's when they can't find anything but you KNOW something's up. I'm gonna end up with $6000 worth of bills for my heart but they can't tell me why i have chest pains. Maybe it's the medical costs, heh.

Euck, no no no, no needles.

Yeah, It's hard being my age, having a house, several pets that need to be cared for and your medical bills.

They're literally small pieces of metal that drain out stuff that keeps you alive! They suck out your life force! But no, really, small pieces of metal in your skin. Yeeeeaaaaaaaugh!

My mental health set me back several years, so i still live with my mom and it's a financial mess on top of both our medical bills. Trying to get my life back in order so i can help her as much as myself, she's old and my siblings don't seem to care what happens to her, since they took advantage of her when dad died and she has no money left to live comfortably at her age. That's a whole 'nother can of beans though.
