After numerous attempts I beat the forsaken dungeon but..... Now what do I do? It doesn't look like any new zones opened up? Have I reached the end of the storyline?

It's been awhile since I finished the available story line so I'll suggest the basics
Have you been back to Sanctuary of Saerielle?
Is Aryth's Spire available/have you cleared it?

Ohh I see it now! The middle zone is open I can visit the castle!
