Hello all~

I'm fairly new here, but after reading the guide on 6-vis projects, I've come up with a project of my own I'd like to start. It'd be simplest as far as breeding goes to start with essences, but other than buying them with diamonds or from other users, I'm not sure how they can be obtained.

I think I saw something about getting essences from nurturing; how does that work? Are there other ways to possibly find them?

There's a random (quite rare, in my experience) chance of getting one when you Nurture.

I believe I've received one from an Event Satchel in the past.

You can also find them while exploring and fighting battles although, once again, quite rare.

If you are planning a project, it might be worthwhile posting about it in the Breeding Discussion forum to see if there's any interest. Sometimes players will give essences in exchange for completed project offspring.

I've also gotten essences from reward pouches from the Arena as well as prizes in Jinxie's Jamboree.

If you want a specific essence you could nurture just those kinds of Sylesties by using the advanced search.

I never realised that the essence you're awarded for nurturing related to the type of Sylesti you were nurturing - awesome - thank you!

Yeah it's super useful ^-^ most of the time you just speed nurture whatever pets you or your friends have so you're likely to get a mix of essences and it would be hard to tell XD

I nurtured around 500 nixi hatchlings/eggs so far and I got an enhanced zolnixi essence from my mission satchel today! Just have some patience and keep nurturing everyday or two and I think you will be able to get one!

I got SUPER lucky the other day and got TWO essences from Jinxie's Jamboree within half an hour. But it's never done it before and it hasn't happened again. It's possible though, especially once you get the three Staves minigame. Which is hard enough to get!
