How do people get this?
Also, what are they usually worth?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

As far as i know (only been here for one festival) but during the valentine festival the exclusive pet was the windchaser luffox :) and there was only a special way to get it (buy the egg with diamonds or collect 4 pieces for a stone) the babies were going for about 1 mill. they don't come with all the traits just one (just like a tagged pet) but they have special traits like the windchaser tail the blessings and the regilia (cant think of the rest it has) you just have to breed them to get them all the traits :). They also look like i regular tagged pet with the purple at the bottom saying "Windchaser Luffox" (also to note the special traits can go on other luffoxes they just have to breed with one who got them :) ) I hope this helped

Exclusive pets can be obtained a number of ways, usually as part of festivals. They are different from tamed pets in that they can't be mutated, and some people consider them to be worth more -- depends on the species and theme and number of traits. For instance, pets from the Mojo collection (like the Whispering Shadow Zolnixis) game from last Fall festival, or the Bakery pets from the Winter festival are exclusive. Some themes which could only be obtained by chance from diamond-shop items (like the Melted Chocolate Ryori) are also exclusive. The Garden sylesties in the Spring festival starting today will also be exclusives (as far as I know).

To give a bit more detail, it is basically pets that are not (1) Generated (2) Caught in the wild through normal means.
They are only available during festivals, and each festival there are different ways to earn them. There may be more ways that I missed, but I believe this covers all of them.
This includes:
- Zone-event pets like the ones mentioned above. i.e. there is some item to collect in the zone, which when collected enough of, can allow access to an exclusive pet
- Special pets given out as prizes via official forum games
- Wheel pets. These usually cost the most to get. I've seen people spend 100 diamonds trying to get one. I think they are made to be slightly easier to get now? (During festivals you are able to earn tickets while participating. You can also buy them with diamonds) Like the name implies, you use your ticket to spin a wheel, and if it lands on the exclusive pet, you win it. It's all luck.
