Can i use like 10 dyes on one pet to make him the exact color i want or is there a limit to the amount of dyes that can be used?

There is no limits on the number of dyes that can be used. So dye-away~! =)

From my experience it can be used more than once as some of my projects have turned into disasters and no where near the color i put :P so i had to use a few dyes but as for if there's a limit I'm not positive

So say you use just a regular essence and the color isn't right, will a dye give you the exact color you put in?

depending on the type of dye you use will give you a closer chance :) like the essences. A lesser pet dye is fairly accurate compared to a greater pet dye which is extremely accurate. If you hover over the item it will tell you how accurate it is :P
