I would probably do a fabled type pet but other than that I don't know much about how to begin a stat project, tips?

my guide on stat breeding

Would suggest figure out:
-how many traits you want in the end, if you have any
-how many generations it'll take to get there
-how many pets you want in each generation (how many you want to parent each later generation)

Then based on that, gather up how many prismatic philters/regular philters you need per generation, along with genderbending philters, etc.
And if you can afford to philter all the pets you need in your generations, etc.

So basically, I would advise a lot of planning beforehand, to get a grasp on the numbers you'll need for everything here, or if you're breeding for traits, the chances of traits you're wanting to appear.
