Is there any way other other than selling equipment to earn money?
I've been struggling with trying to get money on here due to constantly getting 'rekt' by the bosses and using up all my items only to re-buy them at the shop.

The best way? Doing Missions, which can be found in the Town Barracks of Esior's Haven and the Sanctuary of Saerielle. The amount of Missions you can take at one time can be increased via the Plazas in the towns for a cost. Missions can provide money, experience, healing items and armor.


It is suggested by most that you get a bunch of pets that have single stat orientation, with most of, if not all, their level points put into just one stat, with at least one pet for each different stat.
EG.
Pets 1 & 6 > HP maxed
Pets 2 & 7 > Str. maxed
Pets 3 & 8 > Int. maxed
Pets 4 & 9 > Dex. maxed
Pets 5 & 10 > Agi. maxed

You send a pet on a mission depending on a) the mission level (don't send a pet that isn't AT LEAST the Mission level), and b) the type of mission (you don't send a pet maxed in Agility on an HP mission)

So for instance if you picked this mission:

Mission Name: Taste Tester
Required Level: 20
Difficulty: Hard
Emphasized Statistic: Health
Duration: 06:00:00

You'd want pick your SwiggitySwoogitySwaglette (Level 32, 3,130 HP) over Metallica (Level 31, 1,670 HP) to do it (unless there was a higher level mission that also called for HP- always best to make the best use of what you have)

There are also Quests, but I don't do them so I can't say much for what you get out of them.

I do the Quests (in Saerielle) daily without thinking but, off the top of my head, each awards about 2,250 gold and a Badge. There are also Tasks available to do once you reach Astryl's Vale. I find Missions to be the most effective way to earn gold though.

Edit: I checked the payouts for the Saerielle Quests today and there are five quests ranging from 1,250 to 2,250 which can be completed once a day.

Do quests and missions, they are great for getting gold. You can start missions as early as Esiors Haven (After a bit, not straightaway.) Quests, you can start them at the very start of the game.
