Glaedr totes the bucket of water to the planting grounds. He pants in the heat of the night, wiping the sweat away. "Here you are ladies, hope it's enough to get you through." He tips his hat to the women that were planting. He gets back to his group, back to Zalala. "Need more water?"

Zalala shakes her head, her hair pulled back in two small low pigtails, she wears a baggy mans shirt. Clothes are scarce and few even wear any, her jeans are too big and have holes, pulled tight with a rope as a belt "Thanks though..."

Glaedr nods. "If you need more seeds just ask." He goes to plant the small plants. "God I hate this place, we need to get out of here."

Glaedr wipes the sweat from his face. "It's getting light, and it's a full sun." A full sun was bad, it was the day the aliens came in their ships and the next night was when they counted and bred the people of age. "We need to hide, I don't want to go to the round up." He puts the plants in a storage box, for the next time he was to plant. "We need to be getting back."

Zalala nods, worried they'll breed her tonight because her birthdays only next week. "where should we hide?" gets up, dusting off her jeans.

"I have not the slightest clue." Glaedr puts an arm around her. "Don't worry we will be fine." Then he rembered that they counted everyone. "Damn we won't be able to hide, they can count." He opens the door to their small shack. "Let's just hope for the best, seeing that your birthday is next week."

she nods shakily, scared of being paired with someone old, or worse someone who they call beasts. So mentally degraded they only breed and eat

"We should rest." They had no food, nothing to fill their empty stomachs. "We are going to make it."

Zalala shakes her head,"Without food and a plan it isn't very likely we will..." she sighs, laying on her cot she'd smuggled.
