i understand the basic common uncommon epic and legendary thing but where do theme pets locate
i know theme pets can be rare or legendary but can theme pets be found outside of seasonal events and what rarity or level would i find these,and what makes legendary pets legendary do they have a better chance to have more viz mutation or do they have a better chance to have more carried or visible genes

Themed pets can only be found in seasonal festival maps. They will be at least rare (blue stars), with 2 GP (genotype points). They can be epic, legendary, or mythical, too (mythicals have 8 GP), if you are lucky. Their rarity just means their number of GP; it has nothing to do with which slots the traits are likely to be in or anything like that.
