We are starting! I will go first.

Shadow blinked and shook herself, slowly coming to. She realized that she had no clue where she was. A loud yip behind her alerted her that there was another dog, possibly a puppy, behind her. "I'm Tigerlily!" It barked. A small, orangey brown ball of fur came running around from the back. She then realized that she was in an open crate.




I added personality types!

Tigerlily had been watching the crate since the moment it had arrived. The people on the boat had always been nice to her, giving her treats and what not, so she convinced Buck to let her come. She had been chewing on a chicken bone when the men finally opened the crate and moved away, leaving on their big ship. She was so excited that she forgot about the treat she was given and ran to the other dog. She was small much like herself, yet she was not as strange as Buck. What kind of dog you were did not matter here, or at least that was what Buck had said. Buck was a mixed breed dog that had taken Tigerlily in the moment he laid eyes on her. He had even choos to stay on the island instead of going back with his human. "Hello!" Tigerlily yips when she moves closer. "I'm Tigerlily, but you can just call me Lily! Are you new here? Do you have any friends with you? You smell nice. Want to play?" She stops knowing she was asking too many questions. "Oops." She wags her tail.

Buck was on the other side of the island, making his rounds like a pack leader would. He had to find a place for him and Tigerlily to stay in case some bad weather came. He sniffs the ground, his name tagged collar clinking on the ground. He was part wolf making it easy to track down prey. He had grown up in a small cave and knew that location well so his goal was to find them a home similar to that one. Something was in the bushes, he could tell by the way the air felt. That had been programmed in him in the fights. He growls a low growl of warning. "Who goes there?"

Tigerlily leads Shadow towards where Buck is. He lets out a low growl, but sees that the trespasser is a relatively small dachshund. "Who are you?" He growls in a sort of friendly way. "Shadow." The other dog barks nervously.

Lucky watched from where he was sitting on the sandy shore of the island, the waves splashing down as hard as a rock, yet, as soft as a blanket. He knew he could hear faint barks of the dogs trapped inside. He could never go back, never. WIth what they did to him, with what they where planning....
He shook his head. It didn't matter now, he was free from the building, he just needed to wait until a kinder human came here and took him home.....if such a human is real. Maybe he could get on a boat? If he hid well and long enough. He looked at the building, shook his head, and looked back at the water.
"Oh, thoughs poor dogs....I wish I could free them...." He sighed.

Mina watched Lucky on the bay. She knew his feelings, how he wanted to free the dogs. She felt the same. But she knew the task was also nearly impossible. She saw a looming shadow behind her and jumped too soon. The next thing she knew, she was in a net, with a weather beaten face saying that she was going to the pound. She was not yet aware of the island, and still thought that going to the pound meant certain doom, and she would be along with the dogs that she had wanted so badly to rescue.

Shadow soon made friends with Buck, but she knew that a terrible storm was coming. They must find shelter. The smaller dog, Tigerlily, apparently did not have intentions of letting either of the grown dogs go anywhere. She also had no sense of smell, as she explained while Shadow became friends with Buck. That completely explained why she was caught unawares by the storm clouds.

Lucky turned at the sound of a yelp, and saw that a dog had been captured by one of the humans. He wanted to help, but he could never go back to that place. Instead, he hid in a bush, and tried to free the dog, chewing at the net, amking sure he was well hiden.

Lily was excited. "I wonder how many other dogs we will find! Just imagine having a whole pack!" She runs around Buck. He seemed unaware of the dark clouds that loomed in the distance. Lily liked storms, but Buck did not. "Buck did you find us a home? I don't want to get wet in the rain." She looks up, no longer happy. Thunder booms over head.

Buck nods when she asks. "It's right up this hill." He says wagging his tail. He walks them up the the hill and to the den. " I put as many leaves and branches I could find in here to try to make it liveable." He walks around. The cave was dry, with the ceiling being high. There were rock formations all over the walls, and floors. The cave was not deep yet offered enough room to house a large pack. The best thing was that it even had a look out post that could be reached by the natural stairs toward the back of the cave. "Like it? I know where another one is if you want to look at that one."

Mina barked louder than she had ever barked. But it was already too late. She was inside the building, and being tossed roughly into an iron cage. "It's okay mate." An Austrailian Shepherd named Bailey yipped quietly. We're being shipped to Dog Island. Don't worry, it's a friendly place. "Alright you two." A gruff voice said. "Off to the island you go."

(I thought they where already on the island!)

Lucky ignored it and walked back to the shore.

( Oh, I thought this was when they were captured!)


Shadow saw Tigerlily follow Buck, and having nothing better to do, trotted after.
