Hi there....I just redid all the points on my team (Cthan, Blue, and Tatter) to try and make things a little easier....My husband also did this on his account and we both followed your guide....Did I miss something in the respec? Am I misunderstanding something here?
Help?
Edit: I am honestly stuck here with no idea what I did wrong. I can go back and level up some, but I either have to finish the grotto, or the first dungeon and I can beat neither boss and I am getting demolished at Lv 31...Can't anyone help me out?

I'm not sure whose guide you have been following, but I'll definitely recommend this guide on how to equip and assign points to party pets: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=11101
In summary, always choose between intelligence OR strength. The two have no use together. So if you add points to strength, don't add any points to intelligence. Equipment should match the points you add. So if you add points to strength, find equipment that adds more points to strength instead of those that add more to intelligence, or split points equally. Likewise, choose a proficiency tree that adds to the same stat you choose to increase. So choose a strength proficiency tree if you're adding strength.
I'll recommend reading the guide, and try to reassign points/equipment (again >.< ) to your pets. If you have any difficulty with the guide, you can always ask me here or ask Flute in her guide. =)
I do believe you can can go back to previous zones/regions to fight. Just that you'll receive a lot less experience points. Alternatively, you can use experience orbs on your pets, or send them on missions to level them up.

That is the guide I am talking about. I did follow it, but I thought maybe I missed something somewhere and I am in the process of upgrading equipment as I go along (As I am a newbie and have limited Gold until I figure all this out, lol). I am coming from being a veteran on the #1 pet site so this is a major adjustment for me. I think I may have misunderstood, because they're at level 32 now and are getting destroyed by Lord Talon at 25.....I am sure I have messed SOMETHING up.
I did pick either Strength or Intelligence; I have my main as high Str and HP with Agi backup, my magic user is high Int and Agi with HP backup, and I have a STR/AGI as well, with all three having like 10 or 15 in the other stats. All three have appropriate Proficiencies, and I am getting destroyed....^^;
Should I post my team's stats and species?

Go ahead and post:
Links to your 3 pets
Their stat point distributions (both level ups and prof tree, not their actual stats, I can view them on the pages)

Pet One. Cthan:
https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=1340179
Cthan's Level Ups
Pets earn 4 Level Up Points every Level.
Total: 136 Spent: 136 Available: 0
Base Health: 1,311 (30)
Base Strength: 96 (38)
Base Intelligence: 71 (15)
Base Dexterity: 69 (15)
Base Agility: 92 (38)
btw, I can't view your proficiency point pages -- only you can. ^^;
First of all, I'll be going with my guide, which basically trying to impose a 1 tank/2 damager build on your pets. I noticed that you're spreading your points across everything, but I find my parties to do well when focusing more on one extreme and the other extreme. So you may have to change up a bit of your settings here.
Not specific to your pets:
1. Don't spread your point distributions evenly. Put them all in one area depending on what you want your pet to do.
(ie for a tank pet, 90 lvl up points HP, rest of lvl up points agility (to help with mitigation), all tree points in HP (I can't really tell if you did, sorry ;w;))
(for a strength pet, 90 lvl ups in strength, rest in HP, all tree points in strength;
same for intelligence pet, just put points in intelligence than in strength)
2. Depending on what you want your pets to do (strength tank, magical damager, etc), get them a whole set of equipment based on what enhances them: (from my guide)
Physical strength-based tank (earth/water trees): Assassin Gear
Magical intellect-based tank (shadow tree): Illusionist Gear
Physical strength-based DPS (damage per second) (wind tree): Myrmidon Gear
Magical intellect-based DPS (fire/light trees): Evoker Gear
(so say you want Blue to be a physical (strength) damager, you'll want all her gear to be myrmidon instead of mixing assassin or disciple in)
I noticed that you're upgrading as you go along. Which is good. :) If anything, feel free to send me a CoD (item with a price of) 40k so I can give you some gold to boost the process of getting more updated equipment. Make sure to check the broker often for equips.
Once you get a good build now, it should be a bit easier. ^^ Good luck!

So basically, pull the stats out of the unused ones, and update the equipment. I will go do that.
Blue is my magical - she just looked magical to me. Lol.
Thanks!

Yep, sounds about right. :)
Blue seemed to be doing physical damage (because her physical damage was high).
If you put on the right equipment, it should raise her magical damage to be higher, then she'll be outputting magic attacks.
Make sure to check the relics (the leftmost equipment for your pets, look like broaches) of what you're equipping, they may have physical damage bonuses, magical damage bonuses, or both, regardless of their type. You'll have to be careful of that, because it might change what damage your pet does. ^^

Yeah, I had the wrong equipment on because I didn't wanna spend the money on it, LOL. I figured I'd just upgrade as I went along with what kinda fit and sell the rest, but I did finally bite the bullet. I've been playing Jamboree and got a little lucky so I'm sitting at just under 100k, but seeing as my last pet slot was 25k I thought I'd better be thrifty but I see the logic on spending it on items. My husband however does need the upgrade but he is saving for his third slot and isn't quite as lucky with his Jamboree, lol. Thank you for the offer of gold, though! That's really sweet of you!
He did the same thing I did with respecing so all he has to do is eventually upgrade his equipment. :)
Thank you so much!
