So, I've seen a lot of people who have been starting projects, like a Zolnixi Project, or a Qitari Project. Can someone just explain to me what a project is.

It is a long term commitment players make to get a specific color, mutation, and marking combo on a certian pet species. For example, say I did a Vulnyx project. I would have an end result that i would wish to get, and i would keep breeding my pets untill i achieved my desired pet. A project is when someone is trying to breed a specific goal pet. Some people only breed for certain traits, others want very specific colours and traits, still more people breed tagged pets for 6 visible traits.

For this project of mine I was focusing on his traits, I did not care about his colours so I bred Qitari with the right genes and mutations to get him:


For this project I generated pets with the right traits and colours to get this result from breeding:


For this one, it would have been expensive and would have taken longer to generate pets with the right colours and traits so I did what I did for the first project and dyed the final result:


This type of project starts from tagged pets, you do what you do with the first project but only with pets that have descended from the same type of tagged pet:


For the final one, if it is not purebred it does not count and will not count as "themed" to the Sylestia community. :)
