so my opinion on the Hobbit book is that its beautifully righten. i love the story line and the descriptive language its righten in. but the movie really strayed from the book, changing the story line, character personalities, and they actually slightly changed how the elves spoke "Sindarian" (you may not now what that is unless your a hark core lord of the rings fan). i personally really dislike how the movie wad filmed. compared to the lord of the rings it seems bland and superficial, many of the special effects seemed like they could have been done better. and the green screen scenes were poorly done. what do you guys think?

I personally thought the hobbit was okay
As Bilbo says in "The Fellowship of The Ring"
"I feel like butter on too much bread" (not the exact quote but I can't exactly remember it right now)
You can't turn a 100-200 page book into a 3-part movie series with each movie 3 hours long I mean that's just ridiculous.
I really, really disliked Tauriel just because...I don't even know why but the white orc was also a pain and yeah...
I actually thoroughly enjoyed BOTFA because of the battle scenes, I loved them, man.
So yeah, while the movie(s) didn't exactly stick to the book, they weren't actually that bad.

And yeah, about the Sindarin, my sister and I really like LOTR so we have some pages bookmarked on that >~<

(also, you sure about the green screen thing? It actually looked pretty realistic, where in Lord of The Rings the technology used for the effects wasn't as advanced)
Oh but my only complaint about LOTR is that in the first movie they didn't include Tom Bombadil and his elf helper or whatever who made good pie (dude I totally forgot her name)
