Hi!
I got this egg https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=1289042 from a wheel.
I don't like griffi very much and don't have breeding projects yet.
I already have an offer to trade this griffi - to past wheel aeri or ryori, but my favourites are nephini, maybe lunemara and draeyl.
What is the best thing to do? Trade? Or make my own post about trade? Should i accept only wheel or themed pets? Or maybe just sell it (gold)?

The pet is yours, and it's quite valuable, but it's up to you to determine it's worth. If someone offers something you like take it, if it's not what you like, then don't. =)

"To determine it's worth" is the most difficult part for me - i do not know how much it costs! I think i'll try to post in those thread and trade it. Thanks!

It should be about equivalent to other wheel pets, so a 1:1 trade for those (2vis for 2vis, 3vis for 3vis) is usually fair.

I would suggest digging about the sale forum too! Then you can see what others are trading other wheel pets for, and also what people have sold previous wheel pets for. I also suggest looking at the eggling auction tomorrow after it ends so that you can see what the 3vis griffi egg sells for, to give you a gauge of the price. I think the 3vis wheel eggs in the auctions typically go for 2mil to 6mil gold. If you have a 2vis griffi it would probably be cheaper. But also wait until it hatches, it might have some really nice traits that will boost its price or make people want to trade for it more.

What I tend to do when selling wheel pets is set up a thread where I look at a bunch of offers and end up picking one I like. I don't set a start price, I just list things I like, along with a diamond-to-gold exchange rate (based on the currency exchange on here). Here's one of my threads as an example. (You could also get offers like that via PM.) Value is never a set thing--your griffi is worth what people want to pay for it and what you are willing to sell it for.

If you want a different wheel pet, absolutely try trading it for one you want. You will probably find someone willing to trade.

Thank you for your detailed response! My griffi has 2 vis, and I'll look for another 2 vis pet. Selling is not for me yet (i think), i need to understand price formation at first :)
