context: I love the way the events are run and have no problem with the wheel prize rates or anything. I imagine the wheel is a good revenue source and the way the rates have been tweaked and players have been listened to is great. I'm happy about it and I really feel that what's best for the site as a whole is what's being done.

In my experience with other sites, I think random elements like wheels will always invite some complaints (due to disagreeing with the idea, in whole or in part, of having the random element, and/or people being disappointed in their results of the random element, and/or being new to the idea of rare items in a game - not to mention the wealth of misinformation about probability one can find online).

idea: I think it might potentially cut down on one type of complaint to change the name of the Lucky Wheel Ticket to Luckier Wheel Ticket. I think in casual speech, the word "lucky" often means or implies that you got or will get a result that you want. Obviously the way that the tickets are now there is no implication that a Lucky Ticket will get you a result you want, but from reading things here I feel like there has been an inference of that sometimes. I am guilty of it as well - understanding the way the wheel works and being a person who does not tend to take a lot of chances with the wheel, I have looked at buying the Lucky ticket with a feeling that I would definitely receive a favorable result.

One negative I could see is that at first people could think there are still the Lucky tickets, with the Luckier tickets a step above that, but that would probably be cleared up pretty quickly when the Lucky tickets weren't around to be bought.
