There should be a way to search for certain species of sylesti so you can nurture only that species,if you are fore example, trying to get a vulnyx essence.

Wait if you nurture enough of one species you can get an essence of that species?!!?!

if you nurture only ,for example, faelora you'd only be able to get a faelora essence.My un-named faelora in my 1st tab is an example.I only nurtured faelora and I got an essence.The generator wonked his colors though.Do you think there should be a nurture search?

While I think this would be nice to have, I also think it would have a rather big down side to it.

If such a search were implemented, a large portion of the community would probably be nurturing fabled pets and only fabled pets, in an effort to get the more valuable fabled essences, which in turn would increase there number in the market, lowering their value and decreasing the need for people to buy them in the diamond shop, which reduces site income, and therefore there would be less money that can be put towards adding improvements to Sylestia overall.

One of the best things about Sylestia in my opinion is that it's always changing. Less changes would make the site stagnant and less fun.

Moochy247, Getting an essence from nurturing is quite rare, but when you do, the essence is the same species as the pet you just nurtured. So if you only nurture one species, you'll only get that essence when it does drop.


Wildcat2704, like Zzzzz said, I think having such an option would upset the economy (both diamond and gold), as there would be a bias in the way people nurture. And doing so would mean that the less popular species may not get nurtures at all.

So I think if you really want a particular species essence, you just have to work for it by searching on the adv search for egglings/hatchlings of that species and nurturing them. =P

I don't know, I rather like this idea, I often want essences that AREN'T fabled. Besides, like it was said, it is VERY rare, think it has only happened to me twice. So it couldn't be that hurtful. Plus, at some point, there wouldn't be any fabled eggs to nurture. . . if you see what I mean (if it were such a problem, eventually all those eggs are nurtured and with the rare likelihood of an essence seems to diminish the possibility of affecting income)
