Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place BUT HERE WE GO;

I'm curious as to what areas are the best place to gather/farm essences-- Are they more likely to drop off of high leveled enemies, or is the rate similar in low level areas too? Are dungeons better or worse for finding them? Or should I be nurturing babus until I develop carpel tunnel? :'D

i've gotten the most essences from Jinxie's Jamboree, when It gives a bonus game by getting all three fairy lanterns filled in. I've gotten four essences from that I think.

I think it depends on your game playing style. As far as I know, most of the probability is about the same, not sure about Jinxie's Jamboree since I don't play that. So I think it boils down to which aspect of the game do you play more.

I personally don't explore/battle much. So most of my essences comes from mission satchels and nurturing.


Though of course, if you're looking for a particular species of essence, nurturing is the way to go. ;)

Mistenbelle - I didn't realize you could get essences from the Jinxie game; I'll have to hit that up more often and try my luck! \o/


Wonderfulb2uty - It's funny, I've gotten one from exploring and battling and one from nurturing. xD I often do more exploring though, especially now that I'm aiming to train up a better battle team. Which is half of why I wondering about their drop rates in different places, as I've spent a loonnngg time in the lower level areas but I got my one essence from the graveyard area when I was plodding away at the story line. It seems like a lot of it is just luck! :'D
