This is probably a stupid question, but here goes...

So, I've figured out going on quests and sending pets on missions, but there's also this tab next to the "quest log" and "mission log" tabs that's labelled "task log." Looks kinda like you should be able to treat it like a quest or a mission, but I can't for the life of me figure out what a "task" is, or what you're supposed to do to take on a task, much less complete it. And I can't seem to find anything in the FAQ other than "tasks are things that exist." Can anybody explain this "task" stuff to me?

Tasks are actually introduced in the third region. You won't have access to them until then. Once you've reached them, though, they're a lot like quests c:
