How can that happen!? The father didn't even have anything in his first slot! He could have gotten wings but not have banded stripes! https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=1203251

The father might have carries in Gene 1 and Mutation 2.
You should genetically test both the child and the father to see what traits they have carried. Carries (which aren't shown unless tested) play a factor in breeding. :)
edit: I see you're getting the father tested. xD You should also get the child tested too when you can. :)

Yeah. I'm pretty sure the child might have one carry, since he has a vis. I will be testing her soon!

I can test them if you want. (I have an unlimited tester)
If you "sell" to me for 1g I can test them and sell them back for 1g.
