Like in my first stable, I keep very few pets there and have 2 tabs that I never use... since I already paid for them, it'd be nice to be able to transfer them to another stable that isn't maxed out. Did that make any sense lol...

I get the concept, though the problem is, tab prices are based on how many the stable has.
(ie the price for a 6th stable tab is more expensive than a 3rd stable tab)

I understand that it's paid for, but moving it would change how much a new tab would cost, if you get what I mean.
I could understand moving a 6th tab to a stable that already had 5 tabs, so the price of buying tabs would be the same.

I don't remember the prices of tabs off the top of my head, but transferring a tab that only cost 50k to a stable where the next tab would cost 240k would be a bit OP. xD;

But it's a cool concept, especially if you meant selling the tabs to another person (since I was assuming in my comments above that it was transferring them within one player's stables). Selling tabs/stables would be cool.

I guess it could just be set to only move the tabs to a stable that would be equal priced? Like a 6th tab to a 5 tab stable as you said

Or you can only move a tab to a stable that has fewer tabs than the one you're moving it from. Then, no matter what, you'd always have spent as much or more on the tab being moved as the tab that would be being created in the other stable. Then it wouldn't be unfair money-wise.

It would also be very easily manipulated. Example:

Stable 1, 1 Tab.
Stable 2, 1 Tab.

Buy 2nd Tab for Stable 1.
Move 2nd Tab from Stable 1 to Stable 2.

Stable 1, 1 Tab.
Stable 2, 2 Tabs.

Buy 2nd Tab for Stable 1, again.
Move 2nd Tab from Stable 1 to Stable 2.

Stable 1, 1 Tab.
Stable 2, 3 Tabs.

etc...


Yes, there could be workarounds. But it'd become complicated, messy, and confusing very quickly.

And beyond that, now, you could just simply move pets from one Stable to the other with the amount of Tabs that you want lol. We already let you re-name Stables, re-organize Stables, and mass move to Stables.

I've said it a few times to some suggestions in the past and I think it applies here too. There's a certain point where we expect the players to take responsibility over their account/pets. And I think this is a situation where it would apply. At a certain point, we'd just be playing the game for you.

Sorry if this sounds over the top lol, I really don't mean it to be. Just explaining our view point on a feature like this. =P I gave a more thorough response because quite a few people have already responded to the idea.

Ah, that makes sense. I know I'm a good person because I would have never thought about doing something like that. But yeah, just moving the pets and renaming things should be fine.

Why not make so we can sell back excess tabs? That way it would be easier to code, we could get at least some of the gold spent on the tab and then use towards buying tabs in other stables.

Doing this shouldn't be game breaking, would be more convenient that having to completely swap stables around (because one has more room than another and you want to stay organized), and allow players more freedom in how they handle their stables. ^^

I guess I saw it more as:

Stable 1, Tab 3
Stable 2, Tab 1

and only being able to move 'down'

Stable 1, Tab 2
Stable 2, Tab 2

This then, couldn't affect the upper level pricing (would actually end up spending MORE . . . ?)


I guess I would be more interested in being able to just move tabs between one particular stable, but since mass moving has been added, less of an issue (except when both/multiple tabs are full).
