I have a holiday extractor, But I'm not sure how to use it? or what exactly it does even

You use the Special Spice Extractor by going to the trap icon and clicking on it, kind of like a snare trap. However, you can only use it on Rare sylesties and above (Epic, Legendary, etc.) They will capture a sylesti's special spice, which you can use in the sylesti bakery to bake a themed pet. You can only use this in the Winter Festival Explore Zone.
