Hi my name is Galaxea. Out of sheer boredom I came up with an RP idea. Its kind of a whodunit type of RPG. It takes place in Sylestia, but in a more modern setting. Including things like computers and cell phones, and cars, etc, etc, you get the idea. Gist of the problem is that there is a new evil force trying to take over Sylestia. You must help to stop it. You can team up with others, or try a lone wolf tactic. However you will be required to interact with the other RPers. You can be a rival detective, a partner to another detective, A police agent, secret agent, vigilante, bounty hunter, or even an innocent by stander thrown into the fray. Since I am new I dont know the names of some of the other regions and havens yet. I'm only as far as Umbra. So if you could let me know what they are I would be grateful. However I will be using city instead of haven and may add some towns or Other cities into the mix. I am open to ideas to improve the RP. If you are interested fill out the form below. Appearance: Tall with fair skin and red hair. He has blue eyes and wears a brown trench coat and fedora, a white shirt with a blue vest and black pants with brown shoes and brown belt.
Personality: He is playful and energetic. He seems a bit cocky at first glance, but that is really only his teasing nature. He is highly intelligent and quick witted. He is kind to those who need his help and has a courageous and loyal heart.
Occupation: Private investigator
Skills: Martial arts, chemistry, Sleuthing, stealth, disguises, ventrilequism, Linguist, cooking, and singing. (The last two he rarely tells anyone about.)
Sylesties: Only one, a male Qitari called Bluestar. He is white with a blue back a red mane and tail and blue eyes.

Personality: Friendly and helpful to most people unless they deserve otherwise. She never breaks the rules (although she finds many ways to bend them) and can seem a bit strict until you get to know her. She tends to hide her dislike of people, living by the saying "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all." She's brave and will go to great lengths to uphold the law even putting herself in great danger.
Occupation: Police agent/Esior guard
Skills: Fast runner, skilled with many different bladed weapons, knows the Sylestia Book of National Law by heart, and there are rumours among the other guards that she can communicate with Sylesties.

Cool. How many people are you aiming to get before we start?

I am hoping at least three, but I have started RPs at other sites with just two before. I'm pretty flexible I can do both group or one on one RPGs. However I do usually carry the stipulation that new members can join at any time even after the start date. My first RPG actually lasted several years and we had several people come and go. As long as you have at least two people willing to keep going you can keep an RPG going almost indefinitely. I'm also looking forward to doing a few fanfictions too. I love writing and RPGs are an excellent way to hone your style and skills. That and it lets me try out character ideas. Some of my favorite original characters I came up with for RPGs. Anyhow I will give it another day or two and then if no one else joins we can start off, although most of the early adventures will be in the first two areas until I progress far enough to learn the other location names.

Yeah, I need to get further too. I like to know a lot about the area I'm supposed to be role playing in, that's why Resa is from Esior because I don't know any other human cities.

Name: Tormar Verduran

Appearance: Tormar has long, dirty-blonde hair, and green eyes. He is never seen without his sword, which is worn in a sheath at his side. His usual style of clothing consists of cargo pants (with a ton of pockets), a t-shirt, and an ankle-length ny'vene skin jacket he got from a trapper in Esior.
Personality: Tormar is an outgoing, glass-is-half-full kind of person. He jokes around to hide his doubts and fears, but tries to keep a positive attitude at all times . . . a sort of wannabe optimist.
Occupation: wanderer, Tormar doesn't like to stay in one place for long periods of time. He is an experienced adventurer and, if asked, will say there is nothing about the wild he doesn't know. After being in the outdoors for so long, Tormar has become a sort of "expert" on Sylesties. He sometimes gives advice to people about where to find them. For a fee, of course.
Skills: Experienced tracker, adventurer, etc. Many of his other skills have been listed above.
Sylestis: Only one, although most are friendly towards him. Tormar is almost never seen without the Griffi, Thunder.

Other:
- Thunder is actually one of my Sylestis. You can find him in my first tab, not sure which row.
- Tell me if this isn't allowed, or if it's considered godmodding, but since Ny'vene are dragon-like sylesties, the Ny'vene hide coat Tormar wears would be fireproof. (Sort of like Drago's cloak in the second HTTYD movie).

As long as he is not fireproof himself, and it does not posses any other special properties it works. With my experience the cloak is just a interesting piece of equipment, I do not consider it godmodding. You character is in. I will try to start us off either tonight when I get home or tomorrow depending on how I am feeling. I have a horrible toothache and I don't know what I will feel like after work tonight. However I do promise that I will post no later than tomorrow.
