I don't know if others share my sentiments, but currently the Leaf Veins on the griffi (haven't checked on any of the others) really look like the griffi's had their face (just their face, not their cheeks, top of the head, or ears) stuck in a bucket when the veins were painted on. It makes a really lovely trait look fairly ridiculous.
See? Bucket face. Now, I don't have enough skill to try and put the veins on the face to see what that would look like, but I do have enough photoshop skill to remove the veins completely from the head to see what that looks like and this is what I got:
Now it looks very pretty like is should... Without the ridiculous bucket face.

I gotta have to agree with the paint bucket face.
And the leaf veins look amazing otherwise.
The Ryori have the same "problem" and so do the Lups (haven't checked the other species)
