Okay, so Flute wanted to trade me 1 powdered sugar for a banana, and she did. A few minutes later she got another and asked if I wanted to trade one more. I said sure, and accepted.. noticed I had enough sugars to make a recipe, was about to go make it, realized I didn't have a baking utensil yet. Went and did a few things.. went back to trades for a moment.. saw this:
Told Flute she must have accidently sent everything she had to me. Went to inventory to return 12 sugars.. saw I didn't have 12 extras, but 13 exactly.
Paniced, checked with Flute, she still has her 12 sugars. Reporting it cause weird? :o But at least the sugars didn't disappear. XD

And here's my inventory with my 13 Powdered Sugars. ^^;
They're in the top row, taking up the 3rd and 4th boxes. (12 in one, 1 in the other)
If I recall, I separated a stack of 2 to send Zelly 1. I meant to leave my 12 sugars alone. ;w;

Just to clarify, Flute, you had 14 (12 + 2) and Zelly, you had 0? Prior to any of this.
And how many did you both get during this process? Not including the ones from trading/bug.

Yep. (I barely remember, but I remember definitely having the stack of my 12 and the extras.)

Oh, no I didn't have 0 before that. You can see from my trades a little further down that Flute had traded me two before the odd thing happened, and Hund sent one, etc. I think the 13 I had afterward was on par with as if Flute had traded just 1 more to me, but I can't be fully sure how many I actually had before the trade happened. I definitely would have had more Sugar if Flute's trade of '13' had actually gone through though! I had at least 8 I know because earlier in the night I noted I was 4 away from being able to make it.

Well, with the trade system, when an item is accepted and stacked to inventory, it changes the number listed on the trade page. The trade page uses the actual item itself to display.
Example, if you accept an item and then use it, it will say that the item no longer exists on the trade page.
Same for stacks. If you accept and then add 10 stacks to it, the trade page will say 11 instead of 1.
I'm thinking that's what happened here.

Ooo.. I didn't know that :o I am a chronic inventory tidier.. I must have stacked them and then saw the number, and freaked out cause i've never seen that before on a trade. XD
