Hi, sorry to bother you guys, but I seem to have an issue. I finished the quest Level 20: Finding Saerielle in Faerina's Shrine in Umbra Forest yesterday, but didn't get a reward. I was sent to find the hermit in the grotto. After the quest log update, it now says I still need to find Saerielle, even though I'm looking for the hermit. Help?

When you finished the quest, did you go to your Quest Log and hit "Complete"?

After turning it in, the quest will remain in your log to serve as a history of what you've done - it will say "Completed" in gray text.

Is that the issue?

No, I finished it yesterday, but I didn't turn it in. The log is saying I haven't done it yet, even though I'm on the next mission.

I don't think the two are tied together.

Are you referring to the pop up boxes in the bottom right corner? I believe that's based off of your zone progress. So if you unlocked the next zone, it'll change.

The quest is separate.

I think, at least. Been a long time since I've looked at that code lol.

Guess I'll just have to do the Tree of Life over again. Thanks anyways.

I'm sorry to bother you again, but I've been doing the Tree of Life all day, and it seems like an endless dungeon. I'm not finding any events inside the Tree, just fights and occasionally boobytrapped boxes. The first time I did this quest it only took an hour. I could really use some help.

I guess I still don't quite understand what the issue is.

If you've completed the quest for Faerina's Shrine and unlocked the next zone, why do you think that you have to go back to Faerina's Shrine?

Maybe if you can provide some screenshots of what you're confused with, I can better understand what's happening.

But atm, I'm not sure what to suggest. =S

Okay, I'll post a few screenshots, but it might be a bit cut off on the sides. I'm using a ps3 to play the game.


Here is just the quest log. If you look at the second quest, it says 0/1. That is the quest I completed yesterday in order to open the Grotto. But when the template for the quest log got changed, it somehow uncompleted it. Even Jinxie is telling me to finish the quest.


When I click the quest, and scroll down to the pop up, you can see that it isn't completed. I've even tried clicking on the rewards.

I'm not sure what happened. I see that you have finished Faerina's Shrine - so that's why there's no new events triggering.

I went ahead and set the Faerina's Shrine quest to complete status again - so you should be able to turn it in.
