So, I remember reading previously that the Aeridini is now the default image when the site can't tell which pet you're trying to tell it in an image url, and that there was a problem with urls automatically copying to ny%27vene or something like that.
Now, when I just recently checked over my profile, I saw that an image that was supposed to be a Ny'vene was now an Aeridini, so I checked the url and saw the problem, corrected it and cleared my image cache, but I still see an Aeridini.
Plus, I have a thread in the games and contests section where I corrected the Ny'vene url error, but the egg images still show up as Aeridinies, and I corrected that one a few days ago.
Looks like the issue is with using http instead of https. Switching to https fixes the links.
seems like the image works if it starts with https, but doesn't if it starts with http.

Wait, I was just on the forum wheel trades, and I noticed that all the Ny'venes turned into aeridinis!!! Hhhmmm... I dont think the problem is solved...

The users who posted the image need to change the image url to start with https instead of http, in order for the image link to work. Somehow it doesn't seem to recognise the image if it's in http. =P
