I have an adolescent pet that I tried to use a Magical Pie on....

He was 10 days old before I used the Pie. After I used the Pie, he was still 10 days old. I checked my inventory and the Pie had indeed been used. So I tried using a second Pie... I received an error saying I needed to wait another 58 minutes to use another Pie (the Pie description says one every 72 hours??), but when checking my inventory the second Pie had still been used. And he is still only 10 days old.

So to make things short... I'm out two Magical Pies. :)

Age != Maturity. Age is just the amount of real life time that's passed since the pet was created.

Maturity is the measurement of its stages - which can only be seen in its image URL if it's been tested or is a generated/exclusive pet.

As far as using two, it would not have let you use a 2nd one if it still had a cooldown. Are you sure you didn't use it on a different pet by accident?

Ah... I see, I am sorry about the confusion over the Maturity... that one is fine then....

But yes, I am sure it wasnt a different pet... I didnt even close the profile page. And I made sure to check my inventory to see how many Pies I had.


Edit --- if its a problem, dont worry about the extra Pie. I mainly just wanted to tell you in case it was a sitewide problem.

Well, I can confirm that Tambourine Man is the only pet that you've used a Magical Pie on within 6 hours of that time frame. So it was not a second pet.

However, looking at his maturity, he's had 2 Magical Pies used on him so far.

Are you saying that you've used a total of 3 on him? Or just 2?

Just two... but the second one, used just a few minutes after the first one, gave me an error message saying I needed to wait another 58 minutes to use another Pie.

But if the two Pies are used successfully on him, thats just fine. Although obviously it shouldnt have worked because of the cooldown period.

I could try using a third one on him, if that would help you debug the problem.

If you'd like. Although it should just tell you that you need to wait 70ish hours or so.

Are you sure you didn't use the first pie as soon as it became available? And then again 3 days later (but 58 minutes too soon)? And then once the 58 minutes went by, you used the 2nd?

I used the two pies one right after the other. Within maybe 2 minutes of each other.

I just now tried using a third. The error message said I needed to wait 23 minutes before using another pie. If I point at the Pie symbol at the bottom of his profile, it says I need to wait 69 hours for cooldown.

I dont believe his maturity increased this time, or a pie disappeared from my inventory. But the error message is definitely wrong at saying 23 minutes.


Edit --- when I say error message, I mean the pop up window message. Just to clarify ;)

I fixed the error message, so hopefully that will prevent future confusion over things.
