Okay so...
I noticed in my Party section at the bottom that some pets have elements.
I was wondering how it is you get certain ones and level up the points on them...
Jin has 2 while Konan has 9 and I'm really confused...
What exactly effects this kinda thing?
Also, can one pet have two or more elements or is it only one?

The elements you can get come straight from proficiency point allocation. (Pet Page->Proficiency Tree)
Every 5 level ups, your pet gets a proficiency point that it can use towards the tree.
The number you see under the element in the party screen is how many prof points you spent on the tree. So it's possible to have more than one element if you allocate your points in different trees. c: (ie 2 in fire, 2 in air)
