Some of my aeridini in my hatchery and stables have turned into qitari. If you look at their profiles the text still lists them as their true species but the images are horses. I'm not sure if this is just a temporary hiccup so I thought I'd point it out to be safe. I've checked out the first couple pages of the bug forums and the main threads so I hope I'm not reporting something already known. :O
