My party max is not letting me increase my party to 2 pets. I am trying to get that to let me expand by going to fungus grove and finishing a quest but its telling me to fight 3 bandits. I cant fight without another pet in my party. What is going on??????

You can expand your party to 2 slots in Esior's Haven.

I have tried that multiple times but jinxie says that i have to collect the reward for capture the sylesti pet quest when i already have. The person you expand your party max is saying the same thing.

Ah. Once you finished that quest, be sure to turn it in and then open the reward satchel from your Inventory.
That will set the trigger so you can expand your party.
