i am still new and learning many of the features of this site and noticed that,while managing pets it says "that leaving a price at 0 means that anyone can buy my pet",but that means i have to name a price and anyone with gold could or can buy my pets and after getting so far i would hate for that to happen

so if anyone could explain,perhaps i am missing something or their is a way to lock my pets
(keep from being sold)

That's for selling to a specific user. The pet is only for sale if you put a value in there (1-999,999,999).

However, leaving the user id field at 0 allows anyone to buy it. If you put a specific user id into that field, then only that user can buy it.

I believe you mis-read it. the text for the breeding/sale fee is "Leaving a value at 0 will remove any current price."
the text for breed/sell to user ID is "Leaving a value at 0 will allow any User to purchase this pet."


So like Krin said, a pet priced at 0 will NOT be available for sale/breeding. You'll need to put a price.

If you want to sell to a particular user, that's when the second part comes in. Get the user's ID and put into the respective breed/sell to user id, and only that person would be able to breed/buy at that price.
If you leave the user id part 0, then anyone can breed/buy the pet, IF you put a price in the first part.
