Well, what does that mean by "something special"? You get a scale for every correct nurturing. You get an ap somewhere around 10% of the time. Coins I haven quite worked out, but I'm guessing it's about a 2-3% chance.

There is a possibility of the species of egg you nurtured giving an essence, but the drop rate is so low, it's hard to pin point a percentile of nurture clicks to essence drops.
It's possible to get one within a few hundred nurtures, or perhaps even more then one in a few hundred nurtures, but it's also possible that an essence will not appear even after a few thousand nurtures. It's all about luck~

What really? I'm like three thousand nurtures in and I didn't know that! well I suppose that's something to look forward to then.
